Wagtail Lodge sleeps two. The Annexe sleeps four (king bed plus a sofa bed). The Shepherd’s Hut will sleep two when it opens. A travel cot is available.

The diary shows the total before you pay. A dog is £10 extra. School holidays (Herefordshire) are 15% extra. Seven nights or more is 10% off; 28 nights or more is 20% off. Short stays of one to three nights in the next four weeks are 10% off.

You must be 18 or over. Choose dates, send the booking, then pay. Bank transfer is preferred up to £500; larger stays are paid by card. Dates are held once payment is seen. We can hold an enquiry for two days.

More than six weeks: 25% of the holiday cost is kept. Four to six weeks: 50%. Less than four weeks: the full amount. Please cancel in writing. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

From 15:00, by 10:00. Self check-in — the lock-box code is emailed the night before your stay. Save it; signal can be sparse.

Yes, if agreed in advance, for £10. Up to two smaller dogs or one large dog. Don’t leave them alone in the cottage, use the throws, and clean up after them.

Yes. WhatsApp or email with the date, the cottage and what you have in mind. We’ll confirm what’s possible and the cost.

No. We do not own the rights. Day tickets are a five-minute walk at Foy Bridge or The Creel — see the fishing page. Tackle storage and a drying room are on site.

Linen, towels, starter tea, coffee, milk, toiletries and a cleaning kit. Heating and electricity included. Cot linen is not. Logs for the fireplace and coal for the BBQ can be bought on site.

Quiet from 10pm. No parties, no smoking or vaping inside, no candles, no hair dye. Pets and extra visitors only if agreed. Full terms are on the Terms page.
